The Zonta Club of the Mankato Area is one of nearly 1,180 chartered clubs of Zonta International, a worldwide service organization. Members of Zonta are executives in business and the professions, dedicated to improving the status of all women and children in our global community.
Member Zonta Clubs raised US$14,865,000 in contributions and dedicated 916,000 hours in local service to improving the lives of women in their communities during the 2000-2002 Biennium. Zontians, learn more in the October edition of The Zontian.

Membership Process
The names of prospective members are submitted by Zontians to the Membership Committee.
Zontians may invite prospective members to attend a business, program or committee meeting.
A prospective member's name is referred to the Zonta Board of Directors for its consideration.
A formal letter of invitation from the Zonta Board of Directors and a personal invitation from the Zontian sponsor will be presented to prospective members.
Membership becomes official upon payment of Zonta Club dues, and installation.
