Dorothy "Dolly" Hunt

            Dorothy “Dolly” Hunt, age 64, of Faribault, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2009 at the Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.


            Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 9, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault.


            Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home of Faribault.


            Dorothy Mae Jepson, the daughter of Jens and Penny Jepson, was born on April 29, 1945 in Albert Lea, MN. She was raised and attended school in Albert Lea. Dolly married Eldon Hunt on July 3, 1969 in West Concord, MN. He preceded her in death on October 4, 2009. Dolly worked as a nurse’s aide at St. Mary’s in Rochester for a number of years, at the Dodge Center Nursing Home, and at St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault for about 25 years.


            She is survived by six children, Eve (Daniel) Lafler of Geneva, Georgia, Fay Bernard, and Becky (Daniel) Mornes, both of Grand Rapids, MN, David (Vanessa) Smith of Eden Valley, MN, Michael (Sabrina) Smith of Owatonna, MN and Mary Herrera of Faribault; by 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Donna) Jepson of Elkheart, IN; sister, Mary (Christenson) Harriman, of Albert Lea; and other relatives and friends.


            She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon; mother and step-father, Penny and Claude Harby; father, Jens Jepson; 2 brothers, Curt and Bob Jepson; and grandson, Tyler Patrick Bernard.


            Flowers may be sent to Parker Kohl Funeral Home for delivery to the cemetery.
