 Carolyn is a graduate from Minnesota State University of Mankato, with a BS in Social Work. Over the course of the past several years, Carolyn has worked in a broad range of social work settings. crisis intervention, homeless prevention, victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
While working in Suicide Prevention Carolyn was given the opportunity to work with Law Enforcement Personnel, School Districts, and communities at large. Carolyn's deepest passion comes from working as a Hospice Bereavement Coordinator, providing support to families after the death of a loved one.

| In 2004 she began producing and hosting the, Life After Loss with Carolyn Carlson radio program. This program's unique format and subject matter has hosted many survivors and experts in the field of trauma, death, dying, and bereavement, in which the messages of resiliency, faith and healing are passed on. |
