Kids ages 8-12 are invited to join our Very Hungry Book Club that will meet monthly in the Police Annex at 4pm! Stop by the front desk to pick up a copy of &quot;The Lemonade War&quot;. Thunder & Lightning: Cracking Open The Writer’s Craft
THUNDER & LIGHTNING: CRACKING OPEN THE WRITER’S CRAFTIn this four-week class, we will read Natalie Goldberg’s book Thunder & Lightning: Cracking Open the Writer’s Craft (provide your own copy, available at most used book sources). If you have been trying to jump start your writing life, this class is for you. Goldberg’s book is a practical and inspiring guide to launching, or re-committing to, a writing practice. We will share tips and tricks for firing up your writing mind and share our experiences as we live out the highs and lows of the writing life. Participants will have the option to share work with the class, but it is not required. All levels, 16+. (Min: 4. Max: 8). SECTION I: Tuesdays 11 a.m.-12 p.m., Jan. 11, 18, 25, Feb. 1. SECTION II: Tuesdays 6-7 p.m., Jan. 11, 18, 25, Feb. 1. Class will take place at the Arts Center, and participants may attend in person or via Zoom. $40. Instructor: Ronda Redmond. Register here.
