Norita Mary Holmes, age 84, of St. Peter, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 in St. Peter. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 6 from 8:30am- 10am at Church of the Nativity in Cleveland. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10am. with Fr. James Stiles officiating. Interment will be held in Marysburg Cemetery in Madison Lake.

Norita was born on May 30, 1937 in St. Peter to Pat and Molly (Connor) Finch. Norita was a graduate of John Ireland High School and worked at Nicollet County Bank in St. Peter and Onan Electronics in St. Peter. Norita was united in marriage to “Turk” Holmes in St. Peter. She enjoyed antiques- buying and selling, cooking and entertaining- especially family.

Norita is survived by her children, Maureen Widdifield of Shakopee, Brian (Darla) Holmes of Le Center, and Dan (Sarah) Holmes of St. Peter; grandchildren, Alan Widdifield, Jason Widdifield, Connor Holmes, Anastasia Holmes and Christian Holmes; and 1 great-grandchild on the way.

Norita is preceded in death by her husband, Turk Holmes; mother, Molly Finch; son, David in infancy; close cousin, Jane; granddaughter, Kayla Holmes.
