Deloris Irene Streich, age 93, 11 months, and 3 days, of St. Peter formerly of Le Center, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021 at Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 22 from 9am-11am with funeral service following at 11am all at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center. Interment will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Deloris was born on November 8, 1927 in Glencoe to Alvin and Ella (Sauter) Voigt. Deloris was united in marriage to Edwin L. Streich on August 29, 1944 in McCloud County at a ministers house which they celebrated 67 years of marriage. She was involved in the Alter Guild, Friendship group, Auxiliary and served as a Sunday School teacher. Deloris enjoyed babysitting and all the children had all called her Dee Dee, she also enjoyed cooking, bowling, cleaning, fishing, doing word searches, puzzles, traveling, dancing, watching Molly B, listening to Polka music on KCHK, and visiting with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Deloris is survived by her children, Barbara (Kenneth) Majusiak of Le Sueur, Sharon (David) Sexe of Cleveland, Susan (Daniel) Griep of Cleveland, and Tamara Streich of Titusville, Fl.; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 step great-grandson; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Lorraine Krumn of Glencoe; brother, Arnold (Jeanne) Voigt of Lake Mills, Iowa; sister-in-law, Dorothy Voigt; many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.


Deloris is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Streich; her parents; daughter, Beverly Colombo; siblings, Elroy, Maynard, Harvey, Caroline and Gladys; grandson, Mark Braun; son-in-law, Frank Colombo; sisters-in-law, Gladys Voigt, Elaine Voigt; brothers-in-law, Lester Voigt, LeRoy Alsleben, and Edwin Krumn; and her loving dog, Max.
