Bernadine Ardell Struck Obituary
Bernadine Ardell Struck, age 72, of Montgomery, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on November 30, 2021. The family is inviting friends to pay respect on December 17, 2021, from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Memorial service will be held on December 18, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at Frieden's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lanesburg. Interment will be held in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at a later date.

Bernie was born on June 16, 1949, in Windom, MN. to Lester and Ardell (Rixmann) Rients. She married the love of her life, Duane Howard Struck on February 7, 1970, in Elysian and they settled in Montgomery. Bernie worked at different places throughout her life including Green Giant, and Montgomery Lonsdale high school. She loved cooking, gardening, sewing, and watching old detective shows. Spending time with family and friends made her happy and more than anything she loved to laugh.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Kelly (Jennifer) Struck of Waterville, Tonia Knapp of Farmington, Connecticut, and John Struck of Burnsville; granddaughters, Sabrina, and Isabella Knapp; siblings, Gary (Mary) Rients of Bemidji, DeLorna (Curt) Marti of Navarre, Florida, Dennis (Kathy) Rients of Elysian, Becky (Glen) Asleson of Kasota, and Jeff Rients of Prior Lake, in-laws, James (Denise) Struck of Cleveland, Gerry (Terri) Struck of Cleveland, Deb (Robert) Gehrke of Cleveland, and Sue Struck of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Bernie is preceded in death by her husband, Duane, and her parents.
