Kailey Lynn Mach was following her dreams of being a teacher attending Augsburg University, pursuing a major in education and a minor in special education and psychology while working at TCU with the Kidzone and preschool classroom and was planning her upcoming student teaching, when she was tragically taken from us on Saturday, February 26, 2022.

Visitation for Kailey will be Sunday March 6, 2022 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Le Center Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11:00am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center.

Kailey was born on August 5, 2001 to Charlie and Vicki (Bettin) Mach in New Prague, MN. She was a 2019 graduate of TCU High School in Montgomery. In high school, Kailey was active in volleyball, softball, band, robotics and dance. She was also very active in her church, especially with the youth group. She was proud of her Czech heritage, always outgoing, and was crowned Miss Congeniality in the 2018 Kolacky Pageant, she was the 2015 Czech Heritage Club Jr. Royalty Ambassador and an active member of the Domaci Czech Dancers and was the Jr. Director of the group. In 2021, Kailey was also a candidate for the Miss Czech Slovak MN Pageant, however the event was canceled due to COVID-19, she had planned to compete in that pageant this April. Kailey was loved and respected as a true friend and will be missed by all.

Kailey is survived by her parents; sibling, Korey Mach of Le Center; exchange sisters, Eliska Korbova of the Czech Republic, Rosa Voois of the Netherlands; exchange brother, Jan Moeller; grandparents, Harry and Sue Mach of Le Center and Del and Carolyn Bettin of Le Center; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Kailey’s family has asked that in lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to honor her life and her love of children, learning and teaching to please donate a children’s book in her name or monetary donations to be used in honoring her memory in education.
