Eric Joseph Hrdlicka Obituary
Eric Joseph Hrdlicka, age 55, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 in St Mary’s hospital in Rochester MN. Graveside services will be held at a later date at St. Mary’s Calvary Cemetery in Le Center. He was under care for serious health problems and resided in Rochester, MN most recently.

Eric was born on June 26th, 1967 at New Prague Hospital to Lyle Hrdlicka and Shirley (Chadderdon) Hrdlicka. He grew up in Le Center, and attended school there as well. He worked as a carpenter with his brother Clifford in the Le Center area, and did similar work when he was living in Florida. Eric was married to Diedra Kukacka on May 31, 1986 at St Mary’s church in Le Center. They had one daughter together, and later divorced.

Eric enjoyed fixing things and had always been very good at putting things together, he enjoyed projects. He had a motorized bicycle he enjoyed riding at his current residence, and was able to fix it every time it broke down. In his younger years he enjoyed playing electric guitar, and had a passion for country/rock music. He also enjoyed collecting things like tools, art, and figurines.



Eric is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Hrdlicka of Le Sueur; mother, Shirley Hrdlicka of Le Center; 1 granddaughter, Alexis Lara of Le Sueur; brothers, George Hrdlicka of Brooklyn Center, Clifford (Sue) Hrdlicka of Le Center, Gregory Hrdlicka of Plymouth, Michael (Renea) Hrdlicka of Montgomery, and Anthony Hrdlicka of Faribault; sisters, Paulette Dieckmann of New Ulm and Annette (Kelvin) Lee of Richfield; also several nieces, nephews, and special friend, Debbie Campbell.



He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Hrdlicka in December of 1998 and grandparents.
