Ralph Leo LaBarr Obituary
Ralph Leo LaBarr, age 80 of Montgomery, formerly of Ortley, South Dakota passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Central Health Care in Le Center. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17 from 4pm to 7pm at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery.

Ralph was born on February 21, 1942 in Webster South Dakota to Leo and Caroline (Wieger) LaBarr. Ralph served in the United States Army and was united in marriage to Judy Leavitt on August 1, 1965 in Ortley, South Dakota. He farmed for many years and also worked at Firestone in Watertown, South Dakota. He enjoyed going to car shows and dancing.

Ralph is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Ed Apodaca) Blaschko of Montgomery; grandchildren, Amber (Adam) Blaschko- Feist of Belle Plaine and Michael (Miranda) Blaschko of Hastings; great-grandchildren, Kati Feist, Lily Brockhoff, Layla Blaschko, Landon Blaschko, Adeline Blaschko, and Levi Blaschko; siblings, Julia Rohlfing of Cleveland, Helen Kluntz of Cleveland, John (Betty) LaBarr, and Anita Labarr of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Debbie LaBarr of Osseola, Wisconsin; many nieces and nephews, other family, and friends.

Ralph is preceded in death by his wife, Judy; his parents; siblings, George LaBarr, Donald LaBarr, Katherine (Tom) Lee; brothers-in-law, Bill Rohlfing and Robert Kluntz.

There will be a visitation at Hope Lutheran Church in Summit, South Dakota on Saturday, November 19 from 10:30am to 11:30am with funeral services to follow at 11:30am with Pastor Janet Miller officiating. Interment will be held in the Ortley Cemetery in Ortley, South Dakota. Under the direction of Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel of Watertown, South Dakota.
