In Loving Memory of Richard Allen Stoecker

September 20, 1956 - September 19, 2023

Richard Allen Stoecker, a beloved resident of Le Center, MN, passed away on September 19, 2023, just one day shy of his 67th birthday, after a courageous battle with small cell lung cancer. Born in Browerville, MN, to proud parents Freda and Leo Stoecker.

Rick, as he was affectionately known to friends and family, was a man of many talents and accomplishments. Rick was an entrepreneur (like his parents) and ventured into the world of business, owning Car Quest Auto Parts in St. Peter, MN. He learned the art of butchery from his father and eventually, opened his own meat market in Le Center. Rick's dedication to his work was a testament to his strong work ethic and determination.

Rick is survived by his children, Nicole (Gabriel) Lindeman, Shannon Coatney, and Raymond Stoecker. He was also anticipating the arrival of his first great-grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Roberta Mathisen.

In his younger days, Rick had a love for hunting, formed strong bonds through the JC's, AA meetings, and briefly served in the Navy, receiving an honorable discharge.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Freda and Leo Stoecker, as well as his siblings August Stoecker, Raymond Stoecker, Randy Stoecker, and Gerald Stoecker.

A small and private service to celebrate Rick's life will be held in Le Center, at the place he called home for the last 40 years, on October 21.
