James Donald Hlavac Obituary
James Donald Hlavac, 57, of Farmington passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at his home. Visitation will be Saturday, February 24, from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM with Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 PM all held at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery with Fr. Tom Niehaus officiating.

James was born on February 19, 1966 in New Prague. He was a 1984 graduate of Montgomery Lonsdale High School. He has been currently working as a Sales and Service Specialist for Bridgestone for the past 3 years. Past employment was with All-n-One Tow, Kinney Shoes, United Steel, and Tires Plus.

James enjoyed wrenching on a car, playing drums, fishing, attending Sunday church services, spending time with family, music, playing with his grandchildren. He was a jokester and always had a smile on his face.

James is survived by his parents, Patricia Hlavac and James (Nancy) Hlavac all of Faribault; children, Kevin (May) Hlavac of Crystal, Matt Hlavac of Farmington, Adam (Amber) Hlavac of Fort Meyers, FL., and Taylor (Brian) Pederson of Elko New Market; grandchildren, Aden and Avia Hlavac, and Myla Pederson; siblings, Anita (Rick) Perry of Eagan, Melissa (Bob) Kukacka of New Prague, and Tara (Buck) Hruska of Waterville.

James is preceded in death by grandparents, Bill (Lillian) Hlavac, Frank (Laura) Velishek; and nephew, Brady Hruska.
