Norman “Norm” Turek, age 82 of Montgomery passed away battling the awful disease of Lewy-Body Dementia on Sunday, March 24, 2024 in the arms of his loving wife and surrounded by family at Elysian Senior Home in Northfield Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 2 from 9am-11am with Memorial Mass of Christian Burial following at 11am all held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Shieldsville with Fr. Tom Niehaus officiating. Interment will be held in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Lewy-Body Dementia Association. https://www.lbda.org/donate/

Norm was born on August 16, 1941 in Montgomery to Frank A. and Ananastasia (Landa) Turek. He was a graduate of Montgomery High School. Norm was united in marriage to Gladys (Sirek) on October 21, 1961 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, gardening, and especially spending time with family and grandchildren.

Norm is survived by his wife, Gladys Turek of Montgomery; children, Susan (Tim) Pan of Montgomery, Shelly (Peter) Janda of Edina, Pam (Tim) Schloesser of Le Center, and David (Jennifer) Turek of Montgomery; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.

Norm is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rita Snorek.
