Dora Jindra Obituary
Dora Jindra, age 92 formerly of Montgomery passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at her daughter’s home in Le Center. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 24 from 11:30am-2:30pm with a prayer service at 2:30 with Pastor Jason Pollington, officiating all held at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Interment will be held in the Bohemian National Cemetery in Montgomery.

Dora was born on June 11, 1930, to Rudolph and Christine (Holey) Shetka in Montgomery. She attended Country School near Green Leaf Lake. She was united in marriage to Raymond Jindra and had two children, Larry and Sandy. Dora worked at Green Giant in Montgomery for 35 years. She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, and cooking.

Dora is survived by her children, Larry Jindra of Faribault, and Sandy Schneider of Le Center; siblings, Harriet Eisert of Montgomery, and George Shetka; five grandchildren, Keanna Schneider, Troy Schneider, Megan Jindra, Nolan (Jamie) Jindra and T.J. Jindra; two great-grandchildren, Lily and Hendrik Jindra.

Dora is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; sisters, Gladys Bauer, Sylvia Trcka, Helen Heyda, Lucille Heyda, Betty Trinka; brother, Rudolph Shetka, Jr.
