Catherine Ann Sery, age 80, of Lakeville formerly of Hastings, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023 at United Hospital in St. Paul. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 26 from 10am-11am at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery with Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11am with Fr. Tom Niehaus officiating. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.

Catherine was born on January 10, 1943 in Faribault to John and Anastasia “Babe” (Furlong) Sery. She was a teacher for 40 years at Hastings Kennedy Elementary. She enjoyed travelling, playing cards, and spoiling her nieces and nephews.

Catherine is survived by siblings, Mary Sery, Joe (Sandy) Sery, and John (Linda) Sery; sister-in-law, Carol Sery; nephews; great nephews and great nieces.

Catherine is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jimmy Sery and Mike Sery.
