James Warren Connelly Obituary
James Warren Connelly, age 85, of Le Center, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at his home in Le Center. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 6 from 8:30am-10:30pm with Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30am all at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Le Center with Fr. Barsness and Fr. Niehaus officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Center. Military honors will be provided by the Le Center area honor guard.

Warren was born on July 17, 1938 in St. Peter to Pat and Dorothy (Germscheid) Connelly. He was a Le Sueur High School graduate, served in the United States Army from 1961-1963 and attended Mankato Vo-Tech for 2 years. Warren was united in marriage to Judy Macho on August 25, 1962 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Le Center. Warren spent 33 years as a tool engineer at Medtronic before retiring to New Prague.

Warren was a member of KC’s, Lions, and American Legion all in Le Center. He enjoyed many ways of being involved in the community. If there was a way he could help friends and neighbors, he was there-especially delivering flowers. Warren was often teased about the cleanliness of his garage, vehicles, and his perfectly groomed yard which gave him joy.

Warren is survived by his children, Colleen (Bruce) Budin of Le Center, and Christine (Todd) Chadderdon of Le Center; 7 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Gwen of Waseca, Joan (Greg†) of Owatonna, Kathy (Jim) of St. Michael, Barb (Ron) of Le Sueur, Tom (Kathy) of St. Thomas, and Bruce (Gail) of Mankato.

Warren is preceded in death by his wife, Judy; parents; brother, Niles; brother-in-law, Greg.
