Sharon A. Zwirn, age 81 of Le Center was a loving mom, grandma and good friend to many. On Monday December 4, 2023 she was called by God to enter into her heavenly home.

Sharon was born on September 14, 1942 in St. Paul to Wilbur and Lorraine (Ballard) Thomas. She was a St. Paul Harding High School graduate in 1960. On June 22, 1968 she was married to the love of her life Alfred Henry Zwirn. For 22 years Sharon worked for Central Health Care in Le Center as a registered nursing assistant. Helping the elderly was truly her calling in life as she cared for the patients as if they were family. Sharon was deeply devoted to her religious faith and served as a Eucharistic Minister, usher and served on the prayer line with St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchild, family and countless friends.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Katherine (Dave) O'Malley, grandchildren Brad O'Malley and Jacki (Mitchell) Wieneke, and great-grandson Wade Wieneke.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Zwirn, sister Joanie Ruff, brothers-in-law Karl Zwirn and Alex Ruff, and her parents.
