Diana Mary Turek, age 65, of Montgomery passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 21, 2023. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Prayer service will follow at 2:00 p.m all at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery, with Fr. George Grafsky officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery, MN.

Diana was born on August 30, 1958 to Glen and Mary (Nicholas) Speiker in Shakopee, MN. She was a graduate of Shakopee High School. She was united in marriage to Steven Turek on May 17, 1980 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery, MN. She enjoyed sewing, making baby quilts, baking and cooking. She was an avid collector of many things including clowns, and little messages sent from heaven, such as feathers. She loved cats and always had one in her home. More than anything, she was very giving and had a big heart for everybody.

Diana is survived by her husband, Steven; children, Jason (Jessica) Turek of Le Sueur, MN and Rachel (and fiancé Paul Fredrickson) Turek of Lonsdale; grandchildren, Lillian and Emma Turek, Haley Stevens, Wyatt Markland and Ezreal Fredrickson; siblings, Debbie Speiker of Jordan, MN, Robert Speiker of Jordan, and Richard Speiker of Shakopee.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents.
