Connie Marie Ellanson Obituary
Connie Marie Ellanson, 80, of Le Center, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 31, 2023, at River’s Edge Hospital in St. Peter. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 7 from 3pm to 6pm at the Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 8 at 11am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center with visitation at the church one-hour prior. Interment will be held in Gorman Lake Cemetery in Cordova.

Connie was born on March 19, 1943 in Madelia to Palmer and Mary (Suess) Mickelson. She was a graduate from Madelia High School. She was united in marriage Gordon Ellanson Sr. on March 25, 1961 in Madelia. She was a homemaker and raised her 5 children that loved and adored her very much. Through these years she worked various jobs in the community- Red Owl, Le Center Meat Market, Rolling Meadows, and the Muni. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and volunteered for many organizations. She loved to cook, bake, travel, chatting on the phone, and especially spending time with her family.

Connie is survived by her husband, Gordon Ellanson Sr. of Le Center; children, Susan Olson of Le Sueur, Jesse (Linda) Ellanson of New Prague, Dawn Weber (fiancé Shane Brenke) of Le Sueur, Lisa Simon (Mike Blaschko) of Le Center; daughter-in-law, Nancy Ellanson of Le Center; grandchildren, Erica, Jeff, Stacy, Kayla, Holly, Scott Jr, Brittany, Brooke, Bridget, Brianna, Lawson, Nolan, Rayna, Ben, Brooke, Nate; 21 great-grandchildren.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents; son, Gordon Ellanson Jr.; granddaughter, Crystal Jo Olson; son-in-law, David Weber; siblings, Edward “Sonny” Mickelson and Lynn Morrow.
