Robert Ernest Gruetzmacher, age 87, of Le Center passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Le Center Funeral Home.

Bob was born March 26, 1936 in LeSueur, MN to Ernest and Elsa (Plageman) Gruetzmacher. He graduated from St. Peter High School in 1954. He worked at the Le Sueur Foundry and went on to careers in over the road truck driving as well as farming. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting.

Bob is survived by daughter, Sue Gruetzmacher of Minnetonka, MN, her children, Amber Richards-Gruetzmacher, Joel Gruetzmacher, Tyler Gruetzmacher; son, Mike Gruetzmacher of Osage, MN, his daughter, Nicole (Jon) Gallagher; daughter, Jodi (Kevin) Krantz, of Russell, MN, her children, TiNa VanHeusen, Angela Colonna, Becca Colonna; daughter, Luann (Andy) Schloesser of Le Center, MN, their children, Joey (Danielle) Schloesser and Tanya (Matt) Rooney; sister, Carol (Gary) Peach; brother, Kent (Mary) Gruetzmacher; seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Kenneth, Annette, and Lois.
