Helen Anna Drentlaw Obituary
Helen Anna Drentlaw, age 98, of Montgomery, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 20, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m., all at Most Holy Redeemer Church in Montgomery. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.

Helen was born on January 12, 1926 to Frank J. and Mary (Uhlis) Kaderlik in rural Montgomery. She attended country school in rural Montgomery. Helen was united in marriage to Edward Drentlaw on June 30, 1947 and they made their home in St. Paul for three years and then moved to Montgomery where they have lived all their lives. She was a stay-at-home mom until the children were grown and then went on to start her cleaning career. She worked for Family Medical Clinic, Parkview Medical Clinic, First National Bank, First National Agency and CornerStone State Bank. She loved dancing, listening to music, gardening and baking. She spent 50% of her day praying. She was a member of CCW, VFW Auxiliary and the Association of the Miraculous Medal.

Helen is survived by her children, Connie White Tupy (Bernie), Kenneth Edward Drentlaw (Peggy); grandchildren, Annette White, Jeremy Drentlaw, Jason Drentlaw, Jacob Drentlaw and Randi Taaffe; great-grandchildren Anna Kochevar, Mikayla Drentlaw, Emily Drentlaw, Griffen Drentlaw and Hazel Drentlaw.

Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Edward; parents; brother, Francis Kaderlik; son-in-law, Leon White; grandson, Dustin Michaelis; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
