Donna Mae Sladek Obituary
Donna Mae Sladek, age 69 of Le Center passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Mayo Mankato Hospital. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 9 from 3-7 pm at the Le Center Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 10 at 11 am at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of German Lake in rural Waterville with Pastor Karl Rydholm officiating with visitation one hour prior at the church. Interment will be held in Lake Gorman Cemetery at Cordova.

Donna was born on October 24, 1954 in Faribault to Donald and Thelma (Preble) Schueler. She was a Le Center High School graduate. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Sladek on March 9, 1974 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center. She had worked as a cook for MSU. She enjoyed cooking, baking, loved her fairy gardens, watching movies, family time, fires, road trips, and puzzles. She took in many people as if they were her family.

Donna is survived by her husband, Kenneth Sladek of Le Center; children, Jeremy (Nikki) Sladek of Le Center, Jason (Michelle) Sladek of Montgomery, Cindy (Dustin) Vossen of Winnebago; grandchildren, Tyler, Karly, and Ava Sladek, Derek Trnka (Taylor Stepka), and Ellie Sladek; great-grandchild due in November 2024; siblings, Barb (Ray) Hinderscheid of Kilkenny, Linda (Jerry) Hrdlicka of Rogers, Dan (Cecelia) Schueler of Le Center, and Melanie Ring (fiancé, David Koening) of Burnsville; grandpup, Sheldon Vossen.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Thelma Schueler; mother and father-in-law, Raymond and Alice (Ella) Sladek; brothers and sisters-in-law, Eric Ring, Ivan Sladek, Stanley Moravec, Delyla Sladek, Delaine Sladek, and Frannie Sladek; nephew, Chris Schueler.
