Marilyn Mae Reddemann, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, departed from this world on May 6, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion. Born on October 18, 1940, to Mildred and Jasper Shaver, Marilyn's life was a testament to faith, family, and a spirit of adventure. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 15 from 9am-11am with Funeral Service at 11am all held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center.

On July 14, 1958, Marilyn joined hands in marriage with her beloved husband, Darvin
Reddemann. Together, they embarked on a journey of love and partnership that spanned over six decades. Their union was blessed with the joy of parenthood, welcoming their son James Reddemann into the world. Marilyn's love for her family knew no bounds, and she poured her heart into nurturing her husband, son, his wife Karen, and later, her grandchildren, Zachary, Katherine, and Annica, and her fiancé, Austin.

Marilyn's devotion extended beyond her immediate family to her siblings, David Shaver and his wife, Jane, and Sharen Pinney and her husband, Bill. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Jasper Shaver, her brother David Shaver, brother-in-law Bill Pinney and her niece Christine Pinney.

A woman of many talents and passions, Marilyn's zest for life was infectious. She found solace and purpose in her faith, actively participating in her Lutheran church community and serving as the superintendent of Sunday school. Her dedication to teaching and guiding the younger generation reflected her deep commitment to her beliefs.

Marilyn's hands were never idle; she found joy in the simple pleasures of gardening and sewing, creating beautiful quilts that served as tangible expressions of her love. Her adventurous spirit led her to explore new horizons, as she fulfilled her passion for flying and became a licensed pilot. Marilyn's love for the outdoors also manifested in her fondness for fishing and camping along the picturesque North Shore, where she cherished moments of tranquility with her family.

Throughout her life, Marilyn worked alongside her husband on their dairy farm, where her
unwavering support and tireless efforts contributed to their shared success. Her dedication to her husband and their shared endeavors was unwavering, a testament to the strength of their bond.

In the quiet moments of reflection, Marilyn's absence is keenly felt, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who were touched by her kindness, warmth, and love. As we bid farewell to a remarkable woman, we find solace in knowing that Marilyn's legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire and uplift us in the days to come.

Though she may no longer walk among us, Marilyn's spirit will forever soar in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her, reminding us to embrace each day with joy, gratitude, and a sense of adventure.
