The 2022 MAYDAY! Peace Conference, Growing Peacebuilders, seeks to empower us to promote justice and peace. The conference will feature Dr. Maya Soetoro and Dr. Kerrie Urosevich ‘93, peace educators and the co-founders of the nonprofit Ceeds for Peace. Soetoro and Urosevich will plant the “ceeds” of courage, commitment, and connection and more by sharing with the Gustavus community the tools needed to build peace and remain resilient while doing so. This year, Soetoro and Urosevich will lead a 10 a.m. presentation in the Chapel as well as three interactive workshops in the afternoon and evening.
